Elong Tune

Elong Tuna is derived from the Sasak language, meaning the tail of an eel. This name originated in 1995 when two farmers, who were working on their rice fields near the waterfall, suddenly saw the tail of an eel, or "Elong Tuna" in Sasak, which was white and unusually large, unlike a typical eel tail. Elong Tuna Waterfall stands about 20 meters high, with three waterfalls, and it takes approximately 3 minutes to reach the parking area. Elong Tuna Waterfall is located in Pemasir, one of the most remote hamlets in Lantan Village. At night, visitors to Elong Tuna Waterfall can enjoy the sight of a thousand fireflies, often witnessed by guests camping near the waterfall. The waterfall has a spring that flows from a rock, known as "Lingko' Jin." Some locals believe the Lingkoq Jin area to be a place for making vows by drinking the water from Lingkoq Jin while washing their faces, or by hanging a lock (pakem) around the area, which has replaced the ancient practice of offering kepeng tepong (holey coins) as people did in the past.
